“Daylight Saving Time” - Does it do what it is supposed to do?

Students will review the pros and cons of daylight saving time and then decide whether it is a good idea or not. 

Can the success of DST be measured numerically?

Students will analyze data to determine to success of DST.

Does daylight saving time have any impact on jobs (farmers, retail, etc.), and is it positive or negative?

Students will review stimulus items to determine the social impact DST has on business.

Students will gain background information through reading and or viewing stimulus items on Daylight Saving Time.

Students will review statical data regarding Daylight Saving Time.

Students will review stimulus items from both points of view, pro and con , for the continuation of Daylight Saving Time.

Students will participate in a classroom discussion of the pros and cons of Daylight Saving Time.

Students will analyze the data on Daylight Saving Time and participate in class discussion.

Students will participate in teacher led class discusion.
