Labor Day began as an observance to raise awareness for workers’ rights, and grew to become a national holiday.  Propose a new national holiday or celebration that is based on an issue, historical event, person or group, or any other theme.  How should this day be observed and celebrated?  What is the best way to raise widespread awareness and support for the new “holiday”?
