The city of Tokyo has been chosen to host the Olympic Games in 2020.  At each Olympics, a mascot is created that reflects the host city and the spirit of the games.  How would you go about designing the mascot for the Tokyo Olympics?

How do you design a mascot?

Students will review the mascots of previous Olympics, as well as basic tips for choosing a mascot.  They will also review facts about the city of Tokyo, and use the information to design their own mascot for the Tokyo Olympics.
