The Problem

Every year, the nation celebrates Veterans Day to honor the men and women who have served in the military. Your town wants to create a memorial dedicated to these Americans. What type of memorial would be practical and appropriate… and why?

Creating a Memorial...

Students will review the history of Veterans Day, as well as different memorials that have been created to honor veterans. They will then decide on the best memorial for their town to adopt.
