The Problem

You are a meteorologist, and a major winter storm is preparing to strike in your area.  What are you going to look for as the storm approaches and hits, and how will that impact what action you take as a  meteorologist?

How do you deal with a storm that you know is coming?

Students will review maps and methods for tracking winter storms, and make decisions about what warnings should be given and precautions should be taken as the storm approaches.
